Patrick Bignon is the founding partner of Law

Patrick Bignon is a founding partner of Bignon De Keyser. Formerly a lecturer at Sciences Po in Paris, Patrick Bignon is the author of The Legal Function and the Company, a reference book that was published in France in 1995.
As a lawyer in the field of M&A, Patrick Bignon held the position of Managing Partner at Archibald Andersen. In this capacity, he made a big contribution to the development of the firm’s legal and tax practices on the French market, while maintaining one of the highest profit margins in the Andersen organisation.
In 1999, Patrick Bignon became the Managing Partner of the Andersen Legal network. As head of the network, he was in charge of strategy and development.
Among his various management functions, he served on several executive committees and was a member, in particular, of the Board of Andersen Worldwide; he has experience in handling many management challenges such as link-ups between law firms, the launching of new offices and establishing client development programmes. In 2002, at the time of the link-up between Andersen and Ernst & Young, Patrick Bignon, then a board member of Andersen Worldwide, was appointed to head the EY Law’s global legal network, and successfully completed the integration into the EY network of 19 law firms that were formerly members of Andersen Legal.
In 2005, Patrick Bignon created Law Management Consulting an independent consulting firm specialising in strategy, management and organisational consulting dedicated to legal professions.
Steven De Keyser is a founding partner of Bignon De Keyser.
As a lawyer in the field of information technology, Steven De Keyser held the positions of Country Managing Partner and later Managing Director of DLA Piper in mainland Europe. In this capacity, he was at the heart of DLA Piper’s successful breakthrough in many places from Spain to Russia.
In 2007, he was appointed Strategic Projects Director of DLA Piper and became a member of the Global Board of DLA Piper as well as a member of the Executive Committee for Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Steven has a successful track record in delivering ambitious strategic projects, such as integration of new firms and teams, start-ups across mainland Europe and client and sector specific programmes
Dirk has held senior project management positions at an international law firm for more than 5 years. Before that he has gained more than 10 years of experience as management consultant at Accenture. Dirk has worked in many European countries and is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch.
Dirk’s experience with successful client development programs is a result of working in various industries in a business to business environment. He knows what it takes to structure the approach, build momentum within a firm and measure results. He has more than 15 years of track record driving successful client relationships at many organisations.
